About Art of Protection Services
We make training Simple and Actionable — that's our promise, and it shapes everything we do.
A Training School Built Around You
Art of Protection Services LLC is a New York City-based training school approved by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). We deliver the full sequence of state-required security guard courses — the 8-Hour Pre-Assignment, 16-Hour On-the-Job Training, and 8-Hour Annual In-Service — live over Zoom, so you never have to sit in traffic or rearrange your life to attend a class.
Our instructors are certified by NYS DCJS and bring real-world security experience into every session. Classes are interactive, practical, and focused on what you'll actually face on the job. When you pass, your certificate is emailed the same day — because we know you have an application to file and a career to start.
Beyond security guard licensing, we also prepare students for fire safety credentials, helping New Yorkers qualify for a wider range of protective-service positions across the city and state.

Our Mission
Too many people put off a security career because the licensing process looks complicated. Our job is to remove that barrier. We break the path into clear steps, teach the material in plain language, and support you from your first class to your submitted application.
Training shouldn't be a maze. With us, it's simple: enroll, learn, certify, and get to work.
